The South Bay entrepreneur is an international trade veteran who added “restaurateur” to her résumé after she and her husband, Harry, opened pho restaurants in San Jose and Cupertino in 20, respectively. The sauce in the Special Ha Noi Style Grilled Pork had an explosive taste that I wasn’t expecting for a bun. The Rare Flank Steak Pho had a delicious broth that just superb. I can see parking being a challenge during busy hours, especially since there doesn’t appear to be any street parking. Both times, I came during off hours and was able to find parking despite the small lot being full. My first meal here was on a Tuesday evening and it was so good that I returned the following Friday for lunch. They also have some dishes that I have not seen in other Vietnamese Pho restaurants. The stir fried dishes actually taste like they were cooked on a hot wok/pan.
